Install Matlab in Slackware 14.2

In Terminal:

Requisits: JDK installed

$ sudo mkdir -p /usr/local/MATLAB/R2016a

$ sudo chmod a+w -R /usr/local/MATLAB/

In the DVD of Matlab:

$ ./install

After this, if you want to create the entry in the system's menu, follow this tutorial.
